After lunch at a charming local café, explore some of Paris’s most atmospheric neighborhoods. Wander through Les Halles and the fashionable Le Marais, known for its historic mansions and vibrant culture. Visit the majestic Notre Dame Cathedral, then stroll through the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain-des-Prés, soaking in the intellectual and artistic soul of the Left Bank. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Eiffel Tower, Montmartre & Seine Dinner Cruise
This morning, ascend one of the world’s most iconic monuments: the Eiffel Tower. With reserved tickets to the summit, enjoy breathtaking 360-degree views over Paris from nearly 1,000 feet above the city.
Following lunch near the tower, continue with your guide past Parisian icons including the Champs-Élysées and Arc de Triomphe, before arriving in the bohemian hilltop neighborhood of Montmartre. Admire sweeping views from Sacré-Cœur Basilica, once home to artists such as Picasso and Van Gogh. This evening, savor a magical dinner cruise along the Seine, gliding past illuminated monuments as Paris sparkles around you.

Day 4: Château de Versailles
Today, travel just outside Paris with your private guide and driver to the opulent Château de Versailles, the former royal residence of French kings and queens. Your guide will share the fascinating history of this grand palace before you explore its lavish interiors, including the dazzling Hall of Mirrors. Stroll through the meticulously designed formal gardens, adorned with fountains, sculptures, and the long Grand Canal stretching into the horizon. Return to Paris in the early afternoon, leaving you free to shop, relax, or explore at your own pace.

Day 5: Giverny & Rouen
After checking out, depart with your private driver to Giverny, home of Impressionist master Claude Monet. Wander through the artist’s charming house and gardens, where the famous Japanese bridge and water-lily pond inspired some of his most beloved works. Continue to Rouen, the historic capital of Normandy, known for its medieval half-timbered houses and the striking Cathédrale Notre-Dame, famously painted by Monet in varying light. In the late afternoon, continue on to Bayeux, where you’ll check in to a hotel ideally located in the heart of this beautifully preserved town.

Day 6: Normandy & D-Day Beaches
Today is a powerful and moving journey through history as you explore the key sites of the Normandy D-Day landingswith an expert guide. Highlights include:
• Sainte-Mère-Église, where paratrooper John Steele famously landed on the church spire
• Utah Beach and St. Marie du Mont, objectives of the 101st Airborne
• Angoville, where a church became a makeshift field hospital
• Pointe du Hoc, where U.S. Rangers scaled sheer cliffs

Rising dramatically from the tidal flats, this medieval island village is crowned by a magnificent abbey that took more than five centuries to complete. Explore the narrow, cobblestone streets and, if you wish, climb over 350 steps to reach the abbey, perched high above the bay. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant recommended by your guide before returning to Bayeux in the late afternoon.
