You’ll visit the eternal city of Rome, explore medieval Sienna, tour the wine country of Tuscany, and spend four nights in Florence,

home to the greatest masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture. The tour finishes in true grandeur in Venice, universally considered the most beautiful city in the world.

Day 1: Arrive in Rome

Arrive Rome Airport where you will be met on arrival and assisted with your luggage for the transfer to your hotel for a three-night stay. This afternoon, enjoy a private-guided tour from your hotel to include the Pantheon, Church of San Luigi dei Francesi, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Spagna, and Santa Maria del Popolo (Bernini and Caravaggio).

Day 2: Villa Borghese & Capitoline Museums

This morning, enjoy a private-guided tour of Villa Borghese gardens and gallery featuring bas-reliefs, ancient mosaics, paintings and sculptures by Titian, Caravaggio, Canova and Bernini, to mention a few. After lunch, you'll continue to the Capitoline Museums (classical sculpture), for a private- guided tour of the museum.

Day 3: Vatican City & Roman Forum
Today, your private guide will guide you through the Vatican Museums (Giotto, Botticelli, Caravaggio, Raphael), the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica showcasing Michelangelo's Pietà and Gian Lorenzo Bernini's famous bronze canopy. Then, head to the Colosseum (the amphitheater built to seat 50,000 people), and the Forum (Trajan markets, arches of Septimus Severus, Titus, and Constantine), for an amazing journey through history.

Day 4: Depart Rome for Siena

Enjoy the morning in Rome with visits to Basilica di San Clemente, Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, the Baths of Caracalla and the Jewish Ghetto. In the afternoon, depart Rome by train for Siena, where you will be met on arrival, and taken to your hotel for a two-night stay.

Day 5: Siena & San Gimignano
Today, experience a private tour of Siena, including the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta (Pisano, Donatello and Michelangel), Piazza del (universal symbol of the city), the Museo Civico (frescos by Ambrogio Lorenzetti), and an excursion to the famous walled village of San Gimignano, where you will enjoy a walking tour through the city of towers and a local dinner.

Day 6: Chianti & arrive in Florence
Today, depart Siena for Chianti. Enjoy a private cellar visit and wine tasting, and guided tours of Radda (medieval castle), and Greve (famous for Piazza Matteotti, filled with boutique shops, artisan’s workshops and restaurants). Continue in the afternoon to Florence for a four-night stay. On your way in, stop to admire the spectacular view of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo.

Day 7: Florence

Spend all day in Florence with your private guide who will give you a tour of Giotto's Campanile visiting Piazza del Duomo, Santa Maria del Fiore, and the Baptistery of San Giovanni. Experience a local food market, and visit the Basilica of Santa Croce and the impressive Palazzo del Bargello.

Day 8: Uffizi Gallery

The second day in Florence begins with a private guided tour of the Uffizi Gallery, designed by Giorgio Vasari in 1560 for the Medici to accommodate the offices of the Florentine magistrates, hence the name uffizi, "offices". Over time, the top floor loggia became an exhibition of the dynastic collection of ancient sculpture, artwork and artifacts. Today, the Uffizi is one of the most famous museums in the world. The rest of the day is free for you to absorb Florence at your own pace.

Day 9: Palatine & Gallerie dell’ Accademia

With your private guide, visit the Palatine Gallery, featuring Renaissance and Baroque paintings, the beautiful Boboli Gardens (sculptures and fountains), and the famous Gallerie dell’ Accademia (Michelangelo’s David).

Day 10: Depart Florence and arrive in Venice

This morning, depart by high-speed train to Venice (Venezia), where you will be met on arrival and taken by water taxi to your hotel for a two-night stay. After some leisure time, meet your private guide for a walking tour of the surrounding promenades and canals, the Doges Palace, and the Basilica di San Marco.

Day 11: Venice

With your private guide, travel by boat for visits to the Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari (a church located in the Campo dei Frari and one of the most prominent churches in the city, with important works of art), the Grand Canal, Rialto Bridge, Rialto Market, Ca’ D’oro and the Gallerie dell’ Accademia (pre-19th-century art).

The trip was fabulous! Your personnel were absolutely wonderful. The guides assigned were both tremendously knowledgeable and very personable.  I would even say that the drivers were first rate. They all made the trip that much more enjoyable. We saw everything we wanted to. Our guides all followed our wishes and modified the itinerary on the fly when we started to slow down. I would highly recommend your agency.
